About
Signs are a way to communicate and organize the ideas of individual people into collective movements. As part of the Sign Language show at The Whole Gallery, I created my version of a sign outside of the gallery space in a stairwell. This playful installation directed viewers up the stairs to the gallery where a variety of artists depicted the use of signs in their own political or social way, reminding us that the very gesture of art making is radical.
