After nearly 15 incredible years in Asia, it’s time for a new chapter!
This decision has been years in the making, and I’m thrilled to finally take this brave leap! In July, I’ll be moving to #ethiopia to join the International Community School of Addis Ababa as the new Elementary School Design, Creativity, and Innovation Teacher.
I couldn’t be more excited about this opportunity to work with a stellar arts team that I’ve come to know and admire over the past two years of Global Art Teachers Exchange (GATE) conferences. ICS has a fantastic reputation, and I feel truly honored to be joining such an inspiring group of educators.
This move also brings me closer to Europe and the United States, and I’m eager to embrace everything Ethiopia—and by extension, #africa—has to offer.
A huge thank-you to everyone who supported me along the way, especially my advisor Kirsten Durward, the team at GATE, and my future colleagues at ICS Addis. I’m incredibly grateful for this next step in my journey.

Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go!
