In celebration of Singapore’s 50th birthday, I helped implement a lantern building workshop for seniors with the help of Stamford teachers and Kallang Community Club. The seniors built the lanterns using bamboo, paper towels, and rice paper. And each of the lanterns were painted with watercolors. The lanterns were used during the National Day parade a few months later.
